OUR TOWN LUAU
Saturday, JULY 24, 2010 @ 6:00 pm
at the Steilacoom Community Center

Hawaii 2011 or Bust! It's our very own event to raise money to get to Hawaii!!

What started out as "Authentic Plated Dinner" turned into Authentic BUFFET! Our Aloha Bake Sale had rainbow cupcakes, cookie-brownies, gobbers and so much more! We didn't have the man power to do Hawaiian Shaved Ice, but we did have Tongan Otai (a drink w mango and pineapple chunks... talk about ONO!) And last but not least, our show included our own Heimana Production WA, LIVE Hawaiian Music by Unko Don Yoder & “Lei Mele” and a surprise visit from our sister group, HEIMANA UTAH. They drove all the way up from Utah to support our first event with their Ilima class and are planning to do it again next year with their entire group ~

LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE was indeed that... we housed, fed, entertained about 200+ people that night... soooo much ALOHA in the air
$20 adults // $10 children 12&under, seniors 60+

We'd like to send a special thanks to the following places/people for helping our girls get to Hawaii:

  • STEILACOOM MARINE & SPIRITS (Veva & Max are angels!!)
  • The Steilacoom Community Center (Pauline Monk & her army)
  • The Hometown CLIPPER

  • Steilacoom Concerts in the Park (Marcus Rogers is the man!)
  • SAFEWAY in Lakewood

  • APPLEBEES at the Lakewood Towne Center
